Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sameh Amr
Founder and Managing Partner
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sameh Amr is the Founder and Managing Partner of Amr & Partners. He is Dean of the Faculty of Law and Professor of International Law at Cairo University, an Attorney-at-Law in Cairo, an Independent Arbitrator, and an Independent Consultant in Paris. His career spans three complementary fields: Academia, Law Practice, and Diplomacy, including service as Egypt's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to UNESCO.
Rania Koura
Partner
Rania Koura is a Partner focusing on international commercial arbitration, investment treaty arbitration and inter-state arbitration, where she serves as arbitrator and counsel. She handles large and complex disputes between corporations, investors, and state-owned entities across sectors including hospitality and construction.
Mahmoud El-Khamry
Partner
Mahmoud El-Khamry is a Partner specializing in dispute resolution, with a particular focus on investor-State, inter-State, and commercial arbitration before leading arbitral institutions. His experience includes ICC, CRCICA and DIAC cases, ICSID and OIC arbitration, and set-aside proceedings. He previously served as a Judge at the Egyptian State Council.
Ahmed Zekry
Head of Banking & Finance
Ahmed Zekry is Head of Banking and Finance practice, bringing over 20 years of experience advising leading financial institutions across the Middle East on complex banking, finance, regulatory, and corporate matters. His background includes senior legal leadership roles at Banque Misr (UAE), Emirates Development Bank, Mashreq Bank, Ahli Bank, and CIB Egypt.
Habiba Amr
Senior Counsel
Habiba Amr is a Senior Counsel focusing on Corporate Law. She contributes to M&A and the drafting and reviewing of transaction documents including SPAs, shareholders' agreements, joint venture agreements, facility agreements, management agreements, consultancy agreements and franchise agreements. She also assists startups and SMEs from incorporation to governance.
Essam Magdy
Counsel
Essam Magdy is a Counsel with extensive experience across corporate law, M&A, banking and finance, capital markets, hospitality, education, healthcare and information technology. His previous roles included Legal Counsel at Arab Bank Egypt and work at the National Bank of Egypt.
